Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work closely with senior engineers and product managers to design, develop, and test software applications.
- Development: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Debugging: Identify and resolve software defects and bugs to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to the project wiki.
- Testing: Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software reliability.
- Agile: Contribute to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Learning: Attend internal training sessions and workshops to enhance your technical skills.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- GPA: Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python) and basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Tools: Experience with version control systems (Git) and basic knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems and think critically under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the summer internship (May - August).
