Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain code: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code for web and mobile applications using modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define feature requirements and user stories.
- Participate in code reviews: Review peer code to ensure quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot: Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure application stability and performance.
- Contribute to documentation: Create technical documentation and update API specs to support team knowledge sharing.
- Attend team meetings: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to stay aligned with project goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript) and familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Git & CI/CD: Basic understanding of version control (Git) and software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to debug complex technical problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer internship (May – August).
