Responsibilities
- Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python and JavaScript under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Debugging: Identify and resolve software defects and technical issues in our production environments.
- Testing: Assist in the design and execution of unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and code comments.
- Collaboration: Participate in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or C++) and a basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Schedule: Available for part-time hours, ideally 20-30 hours per week during the summer and continuing into the fall semester.
