Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy community-focused mobile applications using React Native
- Analyze local business data to create actionable tech solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on UX/UI design for civic tech projects
- Conduct user research and usability testing for Memphis-based startups
- Implement responsive web designs using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Document technical processes and create project deliverables
- Participate in weekly innovation workshops and client presentations
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing Computer Science or related degree
- Basic proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and React frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week during summer term
- Experience with version control (Git) and agile methodologies preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating personal or academic coding projects
- Must arrange for college credit through your institution
- Valid driver's license for occasional local client meetings
