Responsibilities
- Develop and test software modules for precision agriculture IoT systems
- Analyze farm sensor data using Python and machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate on cloud-based farm management platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Document APIs and create technical documentation for farm automation tools
- Participate in agile sprints and code reviews with senior engineers
- Present project outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders
- Optimize algorithms for real-time crop monitoring systems
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ with 1+ years academic projects
- Familiarity with SQL, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred)
- Basic knowledge of machine learning or data visualization libraries
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Available for 40 hours/week from June-August (fall start options available)
