Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior designers on UX research projects including user interviews and persona development
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Conduct usability testing sessions and analyze feedback to refine design solutions
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on actionable feedback
- Document design systems and contribute to our growing pattern library
- Support cross-functional teams during sprint planning and design reviews
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in UX Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or related program (Sophomore/Junior/Senior)
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD (portfolio required)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
- Strong portfolio showcasing 3+ UX projects with user-centered design approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions
- Availability for 15-20 hours/week through Summer/Fall 2024
- Experience with user testing methodologies (bonus)
