Your Mission
As a Summer Technical Intern at Apex Innovations, you will assist our engineering team in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software applications. You will gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle in a supportive, high-performance environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on Development: Work alongside senior developers and engineers to write clean, efficient, and scalable code in various programming languages.
- Debug & Troubleshoot: Assist in identifying, isolating, and resolving software bugs and performance issues in existing applications.
- Design & Documentation: Participate in technical design reviews and create clear, concise documentation for APIs and codebases.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist in unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure product stability.
- Project Support: Support project managers in gathering requirements and delivering milestones ahead of schedule.
- Knowledge Sharing: Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to stay aligned with team goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (College Credit eligible).
- Technical Proficiency: Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Web Basics: Understanding of HTML, CSS, and SQL is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated analytical thinking and a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time summer employment (40 hours/week) for the duration of the internship.
