Responsibilities
- Software Development: Assist the development team in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Testing & QA: Participate in the testing process, identifying bugs, and ensuring software reliability across different platforms.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and user manuals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions during agile ceremonies.
- Research: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions to team challenges.
- Code Reviews: Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain code quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#). Familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS, React) is a plus.
- Academic Performance: Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated analytical thinking and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time during the summer and fall semester.
