Responsibilities
- Support weekend community outreach programs and local event coordination
- Assist with data collection and analysis for neighborhood revitalization projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on social media and content creation
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and document action items
- Conduct research on local sustainability initiatives and best practices
- Support volunteer management and logistics for weekend community events
- Prepare weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program
- Availability for weekend shifts (Saturdays/Sundays) June-August
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Passion for community development and New Orleans culture
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license preferred for local travel
- Previous volunteer/internship experience recommended
