Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service to shoppers, assisting them with product inquiries and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining the visual appeal of the store, including restocking shelves, folding merchandise, and setting up displays.
- Operations Support: Help manage inventory levels, process returns, and ensure the sales floor is organized and ready for the weekend rush.
- Event Assistance: Support weekend events and promotional activities, ensuring all logistics run smoothly.
- Cash Handling: Accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions with integrity.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with management and fellow team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- Enrollment: Currently enrolled in a high school, college, or university program.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for the duration of the summer internship.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: Proven track record of reliability and punctuality in previous roles or academic settings.
- Skills: Basic math skills and familiarity with technology (smartphones/tablets) for POS usage.
