Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of sustainable innovation strategies that align with global ESG standards and company goals.
- Identify and assess emerging technologies and trends in sustainability, such as AI, blockchain, and circular economy models, to drive innovation.
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate sustainable practices into product lifecycles and business operations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, investors, and regulatory bodies, to advocate for sustainable innovation.
- Oversee the creation of sustainability reports and metrics to track progress and communicate impact to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide a team of innovators and researchers, fostering a culture of creativity and environmental responsibility.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and industry best practices in sustainability and innovation.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sustainability, innovation management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainable innovation projects or programs.
- Deep knowledge of current and emerging sustainability trends, technologies, and frameworks (e.g., ESG, circular economy, AI ethics).
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
- Certification in sustainability (e.g., LEED, GRI) or innovation management is a plus.
