Role Overview:
As an Intern, you will work closely with our senior engineers to design, develop, and test software solutions that drive our business forward. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Code: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Collaborate: Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Debug & Test: Identify, analyze, and resolve software defects and bugs through rigorous testing protocols.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specs and architecture diagrams.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest innovative solutions.
- Support: Assist in troubleshooting production issues and providing technical support to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript) and familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- Academic Standing: Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop logical, effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time (35+ hours/week) during the Summer or Fall semester.
- Teamwork: Proven experience working effectively in collaborative team environments.
