Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software systems
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate knowledge base entries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system updates and projects
- Conduct routine system audits and preventative maintenance tasks
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for critical issue resolution
- Assist with user training and documentation creation
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related program (Sophomore/Junior standing preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows/macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Available for weekend shifts (minimum 16 hours/week)
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification is a plus
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment transport
