Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure network hardware including switches, routers, and access points
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues using diagnostic tools and ticketing systems
- Document technical processes and create knowledge base articles
- Assist with cybersecurity audits and vulnerability assessments
- Support cloud infrastructure management on AWS/Azure platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on weekend system upgrades
- Participate in regular IT asset inventory and lifecycle management
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira) preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Valid driver's license for occasional equipment transport
- Available for 20-25 hours/week during summer/fall semester
