Responsibilities
- Conduct security vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity
- Document security incidents and maintain incident response logs
- Assist with threat intelligence research and reporting
- Configure and troubleshoot security tools (SIEM, firewalls)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security projects
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for critical systems
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Familiarity with security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the US
