Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware/software issues across Windows/Mac environments
- Assist with network troubleshooting, printer setups, and peripheral installations
- Document IT incidents and maintain accurate knowledge base entries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system updates and deployments
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for urgent support requests
- Contribute to cybersecurity awareness initiatives and best practices
- Shadow senior engineers on complex system maintenance projects
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing IT/CS degree
- Basic knowledge of OS troubleshooting (Windows 10/11, macOS)
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Available for 16 hours/week (Sat/Sun) through June 2024
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles preferred
