- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum, bio-integrated systems, neural interfaces)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Develop ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring human-centric advancement
- Present future-shaping strategies to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic shifts to identify disruption opportunities
- Drive patent development for breakthrough innovations in emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership with proven future-tech deployment
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or Futurism
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized future-oriented initiatives
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Impact Assessment
- Experience securing $50M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
