Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 innovation roadmap spanning AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and sustainable tech
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and government futurist programs
- Author thought leadership publications on societal impacts of emerging technologies
- Design and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating emerging trends into commercialized solutions
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI governance, biotech ethics, space economy, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurist or technology journals
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
