Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify paradigm-shifting technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish key performance indicators for innovation initiatives and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership events
- Mentor emerging talent in strategic foresight methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs driving 2026-relevant breakthroughs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech, and climate tech
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to connect disparate trends into coherent narratives
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills for executive audiences and stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or innovation methodologies (e.g., Design Sprint, Lean Startup)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis tools (e.g., Palantir, Trend Hunter)
