Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 vision, including AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for alternative futures and build organizational resilience
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into current development cycles
- Author thought leadership reports and present strategic foresight to investors and board members
- Establish cross-functional '2026 Task Forces' to accelerate prototype development and market testing
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial success
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, biotech, quantum computing, or climate solutions
- Exceptional scenario-planning and systems thinking capabilities
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
