As a key member of our Strategic Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to identify paradigm shifts, anticipate market disruptions, and position Horizon Dynamics as an industry pioneer. You'll translate complex foresight into compelling narratives and executable plans that drive sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and socio-economic trends to identify breakthrough opportunities for 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision implementation
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations for industry conferences
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight findings into R&D roadmaps
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive intelligence signals
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating complex foresight into actionable business strategy
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization capabilities
- Experience facilitating executive-level scenario planning workshops
- Published thought leadership in futurism or business strategy (required)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful trend-impact analysis projects
