Responsibilities

- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives through compelling visual narratives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into organizational DNA
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend reports
- Monitor horizon-scanning initiatives from MIT Media Lab, World Economic Forum, and Singularity University
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or R&D foresight roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning techniques
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or technology impact assessments
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish) and trend analysis platforms
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
