Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal trends for 2026-2030 using data modeling and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market disruption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations for industry forums
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Quantify market opportunities and risks associated with emerging technologies
- Advise executive leadership on long-term R&D priorities and investment allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or consulting with future-focused methodologies
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
- Portfolio of published futurist research or strategic foresight projects
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to influence organizational change
