Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics) and societal trends to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product innovation and business model evolution
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Produce quarterly Horizon Scanning Reports with actionable intelligence for executive decision-making
- Design and implement resilience strategies for geopolitical and climate-related systemic risks
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and integrate disruptive startups into our ecosystem
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or relevant advanced analytics
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term transformation
