Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and climate tech to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market disruption
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on 2026 technology inflection points
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions using emerging tech stacks
- Author white papers and thought leadership on industry evolution and competitive positioning
- Establish KPIs for measuring future-readiness across organizational functions
- Advose on ethical implications of exponential technologies and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial success
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in scenario modeling tools
- Published author or speaker at global tech foresight conferences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
