Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global trends, technologies, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging markets (quantum computing, neurotech, climate resilience)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business units
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government futurist programs
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Author annual 'State of 2026' industry forecast reports
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Horizon Fellowship program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on exponential technologies or societal transformation
- Proficiency in trend analysis frameworks (horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (AI ethics, space economy, synthetic biology)
- Experience translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-oriented initiatives
