Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive trends impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop evidence-based strategic scenarios for 5-10 year futures across multiple industries
- Design and implement innovation frameworks for future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on emerging opportunities and threats
- Produce foresight reports and strategic recommendations for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for trend validation
- Mentor internal teams in future-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic publications
- Experience with AI, biotech, and climate adaptation trend analysis
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, CFP) preferred
