Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Produce quarterly future-state reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI) for commercial viability
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor groups
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of anticipating market shifts (showcase with case studies)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Foresight Platform, SAP Integrated Business Planning)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
