Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociological trends to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop adaptive strategy frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate resilience
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype disruptive solutions in virtual environments
- Present quarterly horizon scans to C-suite and board with data-backed scenario models
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic foresight accuracy and impact
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Horizon Academy program
- Author thought leadership for Future Forward journal (top 1% industry impact)
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Foresight
- 10+ years in strategic planning with Fortune 500 or hypergrowth tech
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals (minimum 3 citations)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario modeling, and causal layered analysis
- Proven track record of implementing strategies with 5+ year vision horizons
- Proficiency in AI trend prediction tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trendalyzer Pro)
- Fluency in at least two future-relevant languages (Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS or APF)
