Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks integrating AI, quantum computing, and climate resilience into business models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state innovation priorities
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and executive briefs on industry transformation scenarios
- Partner with R&D to prototype futuristic solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish KPIs for tracking strategic adoption and ROI on future-focused initiatives
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or equivalent with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Credibility with C-suite executives and board-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (Harvard Business Review/MIT Review preferred)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
