Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 3-5 year planning horizons
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate foresight into product innovation
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and implications
- Oversee cross-functional implementation of strategic foresight initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning or trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend mapping
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into business strategies
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures methodologies preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating previous futures research projects
