Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for AI integration, climate resilience, and human augmentation
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions in quantum computing and synthetic biology
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities in decentralized systems
- Design innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and circular economy principles
- Curate thought leadership content positioning Horizon Labs as the future's architect
- Manage cross-functional teams executing 5-10 year strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains: AI ethics, biotech governance, or climate tech
- Proven ability to translate foresight into product roadmaps and business models
- Published work on systemic disruption or exponential technologies
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from future-oriented strategy projects
