Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs and emerging tech paradigms
- Lead quantum-AI hybrid research initiatives with $2M+ annual R&D budget
- Direct cross-functional pods (AI, blockchain, biotech) on moonshot projects
- Establish industry partnerships with NASA, IBM Research, and academic institutions
- Develop patent portfolios targeting 15+ filings annually in frontier technologies
- Mentor PhD fellows through our 'Future Founders' accelerator program
- Present at Davos, CES, and SXSW to position company as 2026 thought leader
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years R&D experience
- Proven track record launching at least two category-defining tech products
- Deep expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing, or climate tech innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating 10+ patents or peer-reviewed publications
- Experience managing $1M+ R&D budgets with measurable ROI
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for C-suite and board audiences
- Published author in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
