Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons for key industry verticals
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to align future-proofing strategies with current operations
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Present findings and recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage a portfolio of pilot projects testing future-ready business models
- Build and lead a dedicated innovation task force focused on 2026 readiness
Qualifications
- 15+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership with proven future-planning experience
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies; PhD preferred
- Track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation frameworks
- Exceptional data analysis and trend forecasting abilities
- Experience presenting to executive teams and influencing strategic decisions
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFP, Foresight Professional)
