Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, prioritizing quantum AI, climate tech, and neuro-interface systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints with MIT/NASA partners to prototype next-gen solutions
- Secure and manage $10M+ annual innovation budgets across 3 global labs
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board, securing buy-in for transformative initiatives
- Mentor a team of 15 futurists and PhD researchers
- File 5+ patents annually in emerging tech domains
- Develop KPIs to measure innovation ROI and market disruption potential
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, or climate tech
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants from NSF or DARPA
- Published research in Nature/Science with 500+ citations
- Proficiency in strategic innovation frameworks (e.g., Blue Ocean Strategy)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
