Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with market trends and enterprise goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough concepts (quantum AI, neural interfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members, securing executive buy-in for high-stakes initiatives
- Establish KPI frameworks for innovation projects, balancing technical feasibility with market disruption potential
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and integrate promising startups into our innovation ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with proven experience in emerging tech domains
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI, or climate tech
- Track record of launching products that achieved $100M+ ARR or equivalent market impact
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/MSc in CS, Engineering, or Futurology preferred)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful innovation projects with measurable outcomes
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS, CFP) strongly preferred
