Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies
- Design patentable frameworks for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Present strategic innovation blueprints to C-suite and investors
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching tech products with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($1M+ scale)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ patented innovations
