Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 innovation roadmap aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Partner with R&D to prioritize R&D investments for 2026 product launches
- Design frameworks for ethical innovation adoption and regulatory compliance
- Present strategic vision to stakeholders including investors and industry consortia
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record delivering multi-year transformation roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, climate tech) and their commercial applications
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in innovation or foresight publications
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
