Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) with commercial potential by 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions through rapid experimentation cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation strategies and forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive a culture of continuous innovation through internal hackathons and incubation programs
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts impacting 2026 technology landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in technology strategy and emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or biotech
- Experience managing cross-functional innovation teams and R&D budgets >$5M
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and venture capital community
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (articles, patents, or conference talks)
