Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 technology foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Author strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies and market evolution
- Establish KPIs and measurement systems for tracking innovation maturity and ROI
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Mentor junior futurists and champion innovation culture across the organization
- Present quarterly innovation roadmaps to the board of directors and investors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in corporate innovation, R&D, or strategic foresight roles
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Proven track record of successfully launching future-focused initiatives
- Strong proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, backcasting)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals or conferences
