Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for 2026 deployment roadmap
- Lead cross-functional teams (physicists, ML engineers, domain experts) in prototype development
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DoD grants for frontier research initiatives
- Develop patentable quantum encryption protocols for next-gen security frameworks
- Present findings at TED and World Economic Forum summits
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning programs
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous quantum decision systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (post-doc preferred)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with published Nature/Science papers
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Expertise in error correction for NISQ-era systems
- Experience leading international R&D teams (10+ members)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy thresholds and 2026 commercialization timelines
- Patent portfolio in quantum-AI integration (minimum 3 granted patents)
