Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing R&D roadmap for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Secure $5M+ in government and industry research grants
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals
- Present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Week and Davos
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proven track record of published quantum algorithm papers
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong grant-writing and stakeholder management skills
- Top 10% GitHub contributor in quantum repositories
