Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop future scenario frameworks for C-suite decision-making across AI, biotech, and quantum domains
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into innovation roadmaps and product development
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present future trend analyses to executive leadership and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Champion cross-functional adoption of foresight methodologies across engineering, marketing, and operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent technical field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting (e.g., TEDx talks, industry journals)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
