Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and socio-economic trends to identify opportunities and threats through 2026
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for alternative futures and contingency strategies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and manage a network of external futurists, academic partners, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor and report on key innovation indicators and competitive intelligence
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Innovation, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology roadmapping
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Exceptional communication abilities to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
