This role combines cutting-edge technical foresight with business acumen to position us as industry leaders in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess their strategic impact by 2026
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech insights into corporate strategy
- Present compelling tech foresight reports to stakeholders and investors
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Drive cross-functional workshops to align product teams on future technology adoption
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
