Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Oversee and monitor server performance and network traffic during night shifts to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime.
- Data Analysis: Assist the analytics team in processing large datasets, identifying trends, and generating weekly reports for stakeholders.
- Technical Support: Provide tier-one support to internal teams and external clients via chat and email, troubleshooting technical issues efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Execute rigorous testing procedures on new software releases and internal tools to identify bugs and ensure quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of system updates, maintenance activities, and incident reports for audit purposes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the development and operations teams to streamline night-shift workflows and communication channels.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and database management principles.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
- Problem Solving: Proactive attitude towards troubleshooting and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
- Reliability: Must demonstrate punctuality and a strong work ethic.
