Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing 2026-ready technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, AR/VR convergence) for commercial viability
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to secure IP portfolios
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite executives and board members for resource allocation
- Author white papers on sustainable tech adoption and ethical AI governance frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists and organize quarterly 'Future Horizons' symposiums
- Oversee prototyping of 2026-concept technologies in our Silicon Valley innovation lab
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in future-casting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum, MIT Tech Review, or similar journals
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or ambient computing
- Experience securing $50M+ in innovation funding through venture capital partnerships
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP from APF) or equivalent
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech initiatives with measurable market impact
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
