Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026 product launches with $50M+ budget
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on 5-year innovation pipelines
- Present future tech scenarios to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with NASA, SpaceX, and DARPA for tech integration
- Lead patent strategy for breakthrough quantum algorithms
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 3+ years futurism strategy
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum or AI
- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
- Track record of launching category-defining products
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
