Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 horizons
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (quantum, AI, synthetic biology) and their commercial implications
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and industry partners
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation maturity and ROI
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote conference presentations
- Manage $5M+ R&D portfolio for breakthrough technology incubation
- Mentor internal talent in future-focused skill development
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism/forecasting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or neurotech
- Executive experience in Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale tech firms
- Published author or recognized authority in tech futurism
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Security clearance eligibility for classified research partnerships
