Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI and machine learning systems, from data ingestion to model deployment.
- Define technical vision and strategy for the AI department, aligning it with business goals.
- Lead the design of scalable distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data processing.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, security experts, and hardware engineers.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in generative AI, transformer models, and quantum computing.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML architecture.
- Expert proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Spark).
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and big data technologies.
- Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.
